One of the most common things we see in the gym: people working hard but using the wrong rep range for what they actually want. If building strength is the goal, keep reps lower (around 3 to 6) with heavier loads and longer rest.
Quality over volume. If adding muscle is the priority, a moderate range (6 to 12 reps) with controlled tempo and shorter rest tends to produce the most consistent results over time.
If muscular endurance is what you are after, higher reps (15 and above) with lighter loads and minimal rest will train your body to sustain effort longer. None of these is better than the others.
They are just different tools for different outcomes. The mistake is using the same rep range for every goal and wondering why progress stalls.
Match the input to the outcome. Then repeat it long enough to see what it builds.
