September 14, 2025 had their final race day of 2025 and this was one final season points finale for Papa Fink!
After 42 incredible seasons behind the wheel, it’s time to celebrate one of Kings Park Speedway’s most dedicated drivers – Kevin Fink. This year marks Kevin’s final lap as he hangs up his helmet at the end of the season. 🏁
Kevin’s journey began back in 1983, sliding into an early ’70s Camaro for his first mechanics race. From that day on, racing wasn’t just a hobby – it was a lifelong passion. Over the decades, Kevin has raced it all: Camaros, Monte Carlos, Mini Stocks, Hobby and Thunder Stocks, and Hobby Trucks – always leaving his mark in every class.
But Kevin’s true legacy goes far beyond the laps, trophies, and years. He’s been the driver who always lent a hand – turning wrenches, sharing parts, giving advice – and treating competitors like family. The Fink name will continue to live on at Kings Park, with his children and grandchildren following in his tire tracks.
As we enter into the final 3 race days of the season, let’s come together to celebrate Kevin’s remarkable career and cheer him on one last time. 🙌
While Kevin may be stepping out of the driver’s seat, his presence will always be part of our speedway family – as a mentor, supporter, and cornerstone of our racing community.
Kevin, on behalf of racers, fans, friends, and your family at Kings Park Speedway – thank you for 42 unforgettable years of passion, dedication, and heart. 💙
From your race team, fans and race family, THANK YOU, KEVIN!
