"Guardians of the Tower"
The Tower of London houses a group of Ravens, who's purpose is to protect the crown. 7-9 are always kept by the Ravenmaster, but if 6 leave, superstition states that the Tower & Kingdom will fall. Approximately originating in 1660!

Don't always get to do touristy stuff, but the unique historical traditions and superstitions always stand out to me even if it has nothing to do feet.
