Troll Ski Resort

Troll Ski Resort was built by Lars Fossberg in 1972, and 50 years later it is still run by the family. Troll has developed into a great mountain, with 4 surface lifts and 1700 vertical feet of terrain. While most of the runs are for intermediate skiers, there is a great teaching/beginner area, and a few black diamond runs as well. The snow is 100% natural, and there is lots of it

Well guys, they finished the Wendys sidewalk before we finished the "Eeziest Way Down". But that's ok, we were rooting for these guys. Concrete work is hard, not everyone can do it.
We'll see about getting you some updated footage of our work up the mountain shortly.

Troll Freestyle Club is hosting an Air 1 course August 12 and 13. Air 1 is a Trampoline coaching certification. If being a Trampoline coach is something that interests you, please reach out to Scott. Ages 14+

We'll provide some registration links as they become available.

Our local Freestyle Club has been growing and developing since it began only a few years ago. This spring we piloted our first trampoline program. Our goal is to run trampoline programs when there isn't snow to ride on.

A huge thank-you to our tramp coaches George, Jason and Danny.

Thanks to all the volunteers that help setup and tear down weekly:)

Thank you to all the sponsors that have helped get us to where we are and where we are going!
3 gymnastics level trampolines
1 double mini

Mountains of crash pads:)

Scott was going to do a video promoting the Air 1 coaching course and what the club programming has been Up to; but, he must be on beach somewhere because nobody has seen him.

(Can someone from the Freestyle Club share this please:)

Just to boost our GM's ego a little more...

We want the world to know how incredibly proud we are of Scott and all his accomplishments here at Troll and in the ski industry.

Last week, Scott was nominated and received the Lars Fossberg Excellence Award from the Canada West Ski Areas Association.

"The Lars Fossberg Excellence Award is presented annually to a manager or supervisor who shows a high degree of initiative and creativity together with the ability to improvise when dealing with the unexpected. The award recognizes the perseverance and talent of the next generation, and encourages them to contribute to industry leadership in the coming years."

We can see the passion Scott has for Troll and the ski industry.. everywhere. Since he started skiing on our mountain almost 30 years ago, hes been envisioning the future of our mountain and making growth happen. From the expansion of the rental shop, to the addition of the Lodge, to building another Lodge, creating Trailer/Tiny Town, and of course, The Black T project, Scott was behind it all.

(This is why his sister should not be doing the social media cuz why am I crying)

Anyways, Congrats Scott, we love and appreciate you!
