Registration for the 2026/27 is season open for all on Sept. 1st. League details and fees are at qualicumcurling.ca (view the home page or select Leagues from the main menu). Curling starts the week of Sept. 28th.

There is a league for every ability and level of experience. We continue to offer multi-league discounts on full season registrations and our annual Club membership fee is $21 per curler aged 20+. (Curling Canada and CurlBC fees are extra).

Calling all kids! We have a fun Junior Curling program for you if you're aged 9-18! The weekly program runs from October to mid-March on Thursdays from 3:30 to 5:00 pm. You'll learn curling basics, strategy, play games and have fun!!

Equipment is provided and the coaches are amazing (shout out to Carol, Ida, Dave, Kathy, Janise & Jan)! Cost for the entire season is $105 + membership fees (approx. $10). Tell a friend and bring a friend. All are welcome!

Sign up now for our 8-week Learn to Curl program that is designed for new curlers or curlers who took a hiatus and want to learn traditional or stick delivery techniques, strategy, skills like sweeping and play some games. After it's finished, you’ll be ready to join any of our weekly leagues in the Winter Session (Jan-March). The program runs on Sundays from 3:30 to 5:00 pm starting October 4th. Cost is only $155!

It's MEMORABLE MONDAY and today we are enjoying memories from our annual Golf Scramble. There were 92 golfers who competed for the top team prize with the winners being Neil, Wendy, Shannon & Greg. There were also lots of door prizes, a fabulous basket draw (winner Denise), a 50/50 draw (winner Roy), the fun putting contest (winner Barb), and the popular Heads and Tails game (winner Van - he selected tails)!

Thanks to all who participated, to our fabulous Social Committee and volunteers, to the Extreme Eatz Bar & Grill team, the Pro Shop at Arrowsmith Golf Course and special thanks to our sponsor - Katherine Wilk, Royal LePage.

Registration is open for our annual FREE 'Give it a Curl' event on the afternoon of Saturday, Sept. 26th. It's a great way to try curling if you've never tried it OR if you haven't curled in a long time and want to try it again. During the 1 hour session, our coaches will provide instruction on sliding (from the hack or with a stick), sweeping and more. Equipment is supplied PLUS we socialize after (an important part of the sport)!

Book a 1-hour timeslot on our website (1-2 pm; 2-3 pm or 3-4 pm) at qualicumcurling.ca. Bring a friend!

It's THANK YOU THURSDAY and today we thank all our fabulous volunteers who sorted over 27,000 empties at our recent bottle drive fundraiser (that's approx. $2700)! We also thank Justin from the Nanaimo Regional Recycling depot for doing a great job loading up the empties (with helpers Stu, Steve & Dan)!

Thanks to all who donated empties to this important fundraiser. We'll do it again in April. We hope you will help us fill that truck!

TODAY'S THE DAY! 'Drop & Go' Bottle Drive Fundraiser - Sunday, August 16 from 1-3:30 pm. Drive up, we'll unload for you and you're on your way. We'll take your bottles, cans, wine boxes (with bladders), juice & milk containers (nothing over 2% please). Proceeds will go towards replenishing our loaner equipment.
