Registration is now open for our Fall Session of Barn Rats. This fun kids club runs every other Thursday beginning Sept 3, 2026, from 4:30-6:30pm. We focus on group activities learning about horses, life on the ranch, and horsemanship skills. All ages of kids are welcome. Please use the link below to register. Cost for the program is $50.

Entries are officially open for the Fall Frolic Working Equitation Show being held August 28-30th at New Hope Ranch near Qu'Appelle, SK. Along with a licensed show we will be hosting a cattle clinic, an open obstacle jackpot, and a cattle trial. Diane Bolen will be our judge for the show - thank you so much for helping out! I think one of the key signs of getting older, is constantly saying "where does the time go???" But here we are, August 1st is looming upon us and so is our Miniature Horse and Youth Fun show. There is no pre entry for this show, just show up, pay your fee, and enter as many classes as you like. It will be a fun day of showing and a great way to Qual up our youth camp that is currently under way. Here is our prizelist for the day, and Tammy Mooney will be our judge.

This Sunday, come check the obstacles and meet local working equitation riders.

Our Annual Open House and customer appreciation day is tomorrow July 1st from 10am - 2pm. There will be free burgers and hot dogs, horse and pony rides, wagon rides and farm tours. Come check out boarding and lesson options and what events we have coming up for the summer. See you all there!

Registration is now open for our Summer Session of Barn Rats. Beginning July 9th, we meet every other Thursday from 4:30-6:30pm. Summer session runs for July and August only, and this year we will be doing team challenges at each meet. Team challenges allow kids to work as a group to achieve common goals, learn new skills, and have fun while spending time with friends and horses. Around the ranch we often get caught up in all of the projects that are coming up, but today I would like to look back on all that we've done here and say thank you to everyone who has supported our facility and our dreams. Our latest completion was a big one, and it wouldn't have been possible without the support of so many great people. Thank you all for being a part of the New Hope Ranch family.

New Hope Ranch would like to welcome you to our annual WECAN licensed Summer Frolic Working Equitation horse show being held at the ranch June 25-29th, 2026. The event begins with a one day Working Equitation clinic with Dee Lyke, followed by 3 days of competition. Friday will be Dressage followed by a competitor social, Saturday will be EOH followed by a Speed Jackpot that is open to anyone. The Show wraps up on Sunday with the Speed and Cattle trials. There are cash prizes for all of the winners. Entries are due June 15th. The judge for the show is Melanie Houston from Victoria, BC. Entries are now open for our Protocol Show on Sunday June 14th. This will be a great practice day, and a great time to ask the judge any questions you have about your ride or your discipline.
