Our Sep moms & minis social has been PLANNED!
We’re heading back for another special weekday gathering designed to slow things down and create space for connection, fresh air, and meaningful moments with the animals that call the farm home at Peaceful Place Farm
This calm and welcoming farm experience gives little ones the opportunity to engage their senses, explore nature, and learn through hands-on interaction in a peaceful setting. Through time spent with the animals, children can naturally build empathy, curiosity, emotional regulation, and confidence, all while making memories alongside their grownups.
Your visit includes:
• A warm group welcome and short farm orientation
• An interactive walk through the farm with time in the goat and chicken pens
• Meet & greet time with the miniature ponies and horses
• A hands-on “Chicken Life Cycle” activity for parents and minis to enjoy together
• Access to the outdoor picnic area — bring along snacks and drinks to enjoy with friends

Day one of our single day camps is done!
Different format, same farm magic. One day is a short window, so we pack it in, meeting the animals, hands-on grooming, learning how to move safely around the horses, and plenty of time with the goats, donkeys, and chickens.
It's always fun watching kids realize how much they can pick up in a single day. A few of them walked in a little unsure and left already asking about coming back next summer.
Two more single days to go, August 25th and 26th. We still have a few spots if you're looking for one last farm day before school starts. Send us a message or head to our website --- linktr.ee/peacefulplaceequine

That's a wrap on our last full week of camp 2026!
The horse show went off exactly the way we hoped. These kids walked out to the obstacle course and showed everything they'd built this week — leading, handling, quiet minds and quiet bodies. Some of them met their pony for the first time on Monday. Today they were a team.
We got riding in, made crafts, and closed the week out with bingo.
Five days is such a short amount of time. But it's enough to watch a kid go from unsure to capable, from quiet to part of a group. I never get tired of it.
Thank you to our week four families, and to every family who trusted us with their kids this summer.
We're not quite done yet, we still have single day spots August 24th, 25th, and 26th. Send us a message or check the website for details.

Week four, day four!
Today was our final horse show prep, and I have to say, the difference from Monday is something. Kids who were nervous around the ponies four days ago were out there leading with real confidence today. Steady hands, calm bodies, clear direction.
We also had a few duck friends stop in for a visit, which nobody complained about, not even miss Honey who loved being a part of the duck circle!
Our afternoon science lesson took us into bacteria, viruses, and parasites, and how they shape the environment around us. Then the kids got to work with the microscope, hunting for the tiny life on plant leaves that you'd never spot with your eyes alone. Some very enthusiastic reactions to that one.
Tomorrow's the horse show, and then that's our last full week of 2026 in the books 🥹

Week four, day three!
Some of our group headed out to the outdoor obstacle course yesterday, the same course they'll be using for their horse show on Friday. That's where they'll show off everything they've built this week: leading, handling, and the horsemanship skills that started from the ground up on Monday.
We also got riding in, carrying our quiet minds, quiet bodies philosophy right into the saddle. It's one thing to learn it standing beside a pony. It's another to hold onto it once you're on their back.
Two more days with this crew, and then that's a wrap on our full weeks for 2026.

Week four, day two!
Today the kids started learning to lead and handle their ponies — the ground-up work that everything else builds on. Prepping for their horse show on Friday starts right here. They're learning how much a pony reads from the person on the other end of the lead rope.
We also got creative with nature bookmarks and sent the crew out on a scavenger hunt around the farm. Nothing like turning kids loose with a list and watching how much they notice when they're actually looking.
Three more days with this bunch!

Our last full week of camp 2026 kicked off yesterday!
Day one is always about the basics. Meeting the animals, learning how to move around a horse safely, and getting hands-on with grooming. The goats and donkeys made their introductions too, which is never a quiet affair.
We also dug into the plant life cycle, and every camper planted their own seeds to tend to through the week. There's something about giving a kid something to care for that changes how they show up the next day.
Hard to believe this is our final full week. We still have spots left for next week's single day camps! Three days to choose from, perfect for kids who want a little more farm time before summer's out, or for families who want to try a full day of camp before committing to a whole week.
Send us a message or head to our website for details!

Summer may be winding down, but there's still time for one more unforgettable week on the farm.
Our remaining Summer Camp availability is now very limited:
• August 17-21: Only 5 full-week spots remain
• August 24-26: A limited number of single-day camp spots are still available
At Peaceful Place, children spend their days outdoors exploring the farm, caring for animals, making new friends, creating crafts, playing games, and making memories that last long after summer ends.
If you've been thinking about registering, now is the time. Once these final spots are filled, our 2026 Summer Camp season will be fully booked.
