Local organizations will be here to share information, answer your questions, collect registrations and connect with volunteers.

It’s a great opportunity to discover new programs, meet local organizations and find ways to get involved — 𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫 𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐫𝐨𝐨𝐟.

And remember, we’ve changed things up this year! We’re holding the event on a Saturday instead of a weeknight, making it easier for families and community members to stop by.

🚨 𝐅𝐚𝐜𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐂𝐥𝐨𝐬𝐮𝐫𝐞 – 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐟𝐟 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠

We’re hitting pause on the fun for a few hours! Our facility will be 𝐜𝐥𝐨𝐬𝐞𝐝 𝐖𝐞𝐝𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐝𝐚𝐲, 𝐒𝐞𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝟐 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝟖 𝐀𝐌–𝟑:𝟑𝟎 𝐏𝐌 while our staff take some time for training.

Because even recreation professionals need a little 𝘳𝘦𝘤𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 from time to time… and apparently learning things is important too. 😉

That’s right — Kid's Zone is returning on Tuesdays and Thursdays. We heard you!

A few other fall updates to put on your radar:

- 𝐊𝐚𝐲𝐚𝐤 𝐊𝐨𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐭 is back at a new time on Monday evenings
- 𝐏𝐮𝐛𝐥𝐢𝐜 𝐬𝐤𝐚𝐭𝐞 session times have been tweaked slightly
- 𝐀𝐟𝐭𝐞𝐫-𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥 𝐎𝐩𝐞𝐧 𝐂𝐥𝐢𝐦𝐛𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐖𝐚𝐥𝐥 is returning
- 𝐁𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐳𝐞 𝐂𝐚𝐦𝐩 courses are coming up for anyone interested in taking the next step toward becoming a lifeguard

We’re heading into the pool for our final Fun Friday swim before annual maintenance!

Best part? It’s completely FREE for all youth ages 13-18!

This is a great opportunity to get your organization in front of the community and:

There is no cost to participate, and each organization will receive one table and two chairs. Set-up begins at 9:30 AM.

Our summer campers have been keeping busy! ☀️🌿

We’ve been getting out and exploring Prince Rupert with some pretty fun field trips lately! From learning about the port and its role in our community at the Port Interpretive Centre (Prince Rupert Port Authority) to getting our hands dirty at RupertSchools gardens for some garlic picking, and sword fighting with Good Times Games, there’s been plenty to see, do and discover.

We’re making the most of these last few weeks of summer with lots of adventures, laughs and new experiences!
