🚧 Exciting Updates from the Vanderhoof Heavy Equipment Training Program! 🚧

✨We’re thrilled to share that since starting on August 10, our trainees have made incredible strides in just two weeks!
✨This Fully Funded eight-week program is designed to provide hands-on training with essential equipment, including excavators, rock trucks, graders, and wheel loaders within the Vanderhoof Community.

✨The enthusiasm and dedication from our participants have been inspiring, and we can’t wait to see how they continue to grow their skills. With each passing day, they’re getting closer to becoming certified operators ready to take on the challenges of the industry.

We are thrilled to celebrate the amazing achievements of our students who have successfully completed:
✔️ Enhanced Combination Construction Equipment Operator Course
✔️Individual Construction Equipment Operator Course
At O'Brien Training in the District of Vanderhoof!

Over the past eight weeks, these dedicated individuals have gained invaluable hands-on experience, AND Proficiency Certificates logging a total of 280 hours on the following equipment

- Excavators
- Wheel Loaders
- Rock Trucks
- Dozers

🚧Alongside their practical training, they have also earned essential safety certifications that are vital in the construction industry. 🚧

✨A special thank you to our location partner, M 4 Enterprises Ltd. for Enterprises**, for their collaboration and support throughout this program, as well as providing the space in their fully operational Gravel Site.

✨O'Brien Training is proud to have provided the curriculum and credentials required by the Ministry of Post-Secondary Education and Future Skills, PTIRU, facilitated by our qualified instructors, mobile simulators, and comprehensive learning materials.

✨This fully funded program was made possible through the **Province of BC's Community Workforce Response Grant**.

✨We extend our heartfelt gratitude to to everyone for their tireless dedication to supporting the community and individuals in this program!

“I took the obrien course back in July of 2021 in Kitwanga, BC! I made sure to try every piece of iron that was on site, and get the controls down. I was running a rock truck down in southern BC for two years before I went to the mine in Alberta and started running the 777, 785’s and 789 haul trucks.

I recently got the opportunity this year at a new company to get into a long stick excavator and was dredging before I got thrown into a D8T dozer running their dump.

I’ve been running a dozer full time now with Flatiron helping with loading tools, cleaning up the work area and managing the dump. I’m very thankful I had the opportunity to take part in the program.

So when I got thrown into gear I already knew how to run them, just needed a little practice and help from others.”
