At PADC, we believe cross training is extremely important for our dancers bodies. That’s why we are thrilled to announce we have a new teacher joining the team- Originally from Fort Qu’Appelle, Saskatchewan, Katie grew up dancing at Valley Dance before transitioning into an instructor role upon graduation. After moving to Regina, she spent two seasons with the University of Regina Dance Team while completing her Bachelor of Business Administration and has continued teaching dancers across Saskatchewan.
While completing her MBA, Katie became a certified Pilates instructor and discovered the value of cross-training for dancers. Combining her backgrounds in dance and Pilates inspired Performance Pilates—a dance-focused approach designed to build strength, stability, mobility, and confidence while supporting dancers in their training and performance.
Katie is passionate about creating meaningful movement experiences and can’t wait to help dancers move stronger and shine onstage!

✨ WE’VE BEEN KEEPING A SECRET… ✨
And we’re FINALLY ready to share it! 🤫💃
This year, we’re stepping outside of our comfort zone and heading to NEW COMPETITIONS! 🏆✨
We are SO excited to give our dancers the opportunity to experience new stages, meet new dancers, compete alongside different studios, and challenge themselves in new ways!
Why is trying new competitions so important?
💫 New experiences — Every competition has its own atmosphere, judges, dancers, and challenges. Experiencing something new helps our dancers grow both on and off the stage.
💫 Competing against new dancers & studios — It’s important to see what other dancers and studios are bringing to the stage. It pushes us to keep learning, improving, and raising the bar!
💫 Getting outside our comfort zone — Growth happens when we’re willing to try something unfamiliar. New competitions give our dancers the chance to step into something new with confidence!
💫 Learning from others — Watching other dancers is one of the best ways to gain inspiration and learn new things. There is always something to take away from every performance!
💫 Building confidence — New stages can be intimidating, but walking onto them and giving it your all builds confidence that carries far beyond competition.
💫 Creating new friendships & memories — Competitions aren’t just about scores and trophies. They’re about the people we meet, the memories we make, and the experiences we share as a team. ❤️
💫 Challenging ourselves — We never want our dancers to become comfortable with simply staying where they are. We want them to continually challenge themselves and discover just how much they’re capable of!
At the end of the day, it’s not about competing against someone — it’s about competing alongside an incredible dance community, being inspired by one another, and becoming better dancers because of it. 🫶
We can’t wait to see where this next adventure takes us! New stages. New faces. New challenges. New memories. ✨
📣 MORE DETAILS COMING SOON!
We’ll be sharing competition dates, locations, and more information as everything is finalized. Keep your eyes peeled… 👀
Here’s to stepping outside our comfort zone and making this year one to remember! 🏆💃
WE’RE SO EXCITED FOR WHAT’S AHEAD! 🔥✨

✨ Why Choose Prince Albert Dance Company? ✨
Choosing a dance studio is about so much more than choosing a place to learn steps—it's about finding a place where your child feels safe, supported, challenged, and celebrated.
At PADC, we believe every dancer deserves to feel like they belong. Whether your child dreams of competing on stage or simply wants to dance for the joy of it, we have a place for them.
💜 We focus on building confident, kind, and hardworking dancers.
💜 We encourage teamwork, respect, and lifelong friendships.
💜 We provide high-quality training in a positive and encouraging environment.
💜 We celebrate every achievement—big or small.
💜 We believe dance teaches so much more than technique. It builds resilience, discipline, confidence, creativity, and skills that dancers carry with them long after they leave the studio.
Our goal is to create an environment where children are excited to come to class, feel proud of their progress, and know they are valued exactly as they are.
At PADC, we're not just teaching dance—we're helping shape confident young people who will carry these lessons with them for life.
We would love to welcome your family into ours. 💜 Registration for our upcoming season is open, and we can't wait to dance with you!
