Koko Platz Community Rec Centre

Another Family Fun Day success. Thanks to those who came out to join us on such a beautiful day. Make sure to stop by the rink before it rains to enjoy some of the chalk art and activities. We’ve left some chalk out so feel free to add your own masterpiece, post photos and tag us in them!

We absolutely loved seeing our community come out and enjoy our club activities this evening. We had a great turn out with lots of smiles and visiting. Hopefully see everyone again on the 26th!

A couple of summer activity times happening in August at the Club for families. Feel free to email us with any questions, and RSVP’s are appreciated. One evening and one afternoon. Hope to see you there!

A big congratulations to these KoKo employees, on their PCI Graduation today. We are so proud!

KPRC was the lucky recipient of a grant through the Community Foundation of Portage and District to help purchase equipment to make our ice surface multi sport. We now have these beautiful basketball hoops set up for the summer. Bring your own ball and no dunking please.

Our Puzzle Palooza crowd was amazing this past weekend! We can’t thank you all enough for showing up with so much enthusiasm, team spirit and some not too shabby puzzling skills. This event may need to make a reappearance soon!

This Tuesday evening, community members are encouraged to join us in cleaning up around the rec center and playground. Garbage bags and gloves provided. See you there!!

We hosted a small staff party last night (missed a couple of their smiling faces). These kids really helped our Club get rolling this year. They showed up, showed initiative, and showed us yet another reason this Rec Club is so important to our community. We’d like to thank them for working for us this winter and we hope to see them again next year!
