I’m officially back in school 📝

As I work toward becoming a Certified Nutritional Practitioner, I’m learning SO much about nutrition, digestion and the human body, and naturally, I’m already finding little things I want to change in my own life.

So I’m turning it into a series.

Every week, I’ll share a few things I learned + the simple changes I’m personally experimenting with because of them. Nothing extreme. No complete diet overhaul. Just small, practical ways to put nutrition education into practice.

This week: chew my damn food, buy organic soy when I can, and finally figure out how to make beans agree with my stomach. 😂

Consider this my nutrition school diary, and you’re coming with me.

See you next week for Part 2.

It’s been almost a year since our little family moved to the West Coast 🌲🏔️

We came here to have more immediate access to nature and to live a slower paced life. And looking back on these past 11 months, I can say that we have settled in almost too easily.

Not only do we try and get out on the weekends and explore as often as we can, but we have taken five trips so far this year!

Squamish
Aruba

And in December, we will be going back to Ontario for the holidays.

We say it to each other all of the time, that moving here was hands-down one of the best decisions we’ve ever made in our lives. 💕

Fitness should support your life, not become your entire life.

You don’t need to be obsessed with the gym to get strong, build muscle, or take care of your health. You need a realistic plan you can actually stick to.

If you’re ready to build a routine that works with your real life, apply for 1:1 coaching through the link in my bio. 💪🏼

$9,000. Three months. And a very expensive lesson in what not to outsource.

I’m sharing this because I think there’s a lot of pressure in the online business world to constantly scale, automate, outsource and chase bigger months. As though more revenue is the only marker of a successful business.

I bought into that for a minute.

And while I walked away $9K lighter, I also walked away with a much clearer understanding of the kind of business I actually want to build.

I don’t want every new follower treated like a lead.
I don’t want every conversation steering toward a sales call.

I don’t want someone else writing words for me that don’t sound like me.

And I definitely don’t want to lose the human element of what I do in pursuit of some arbitrary monthly revenue goal.

Could my business be bigger? Absolutely.
But I’d rather build something slower that actually feels like mine.

Turns out authenticity is a pretty terrible thing to outsource. 😂

What’s the most expensive lesson your business has taught you?

Who can relate? 😂

I gave birth to him spiritually, and I will not be taking questions.

And I couldn’t be happier 😝
