A familiar face with strong Port Hope roots, Owen grew up playing hockey right here in Port Hope and is excited to continue his connection to the game in his hometown.

Joining the Panthers as our Local Scout & Statistician, Owen brings a great understanding of the local hockey community and plenty of enthusiasm for the game.

We’re excited to welcome Owen to the Panthers staff and look forward to expanding his role with the organization in the future.

WELCOME BACK TO PORT HOPE, KYLE GIROUX!

This one comes with some Panthers history.

Kyle spent three seasons as a Port Hope Panther, and now he returns to the bench as an Assistant Coach.

Known as an offensively driven player during his time in Port Hope, Kyle brings that same hockey IQ and experience into his new role. He’ll be a valuable resource for our forwards and power play, helping develop our offensive game throughout the season.

From wearing the Panthers jersey to helping lead the next group wearing it, we’re excited to have Kyle back in Port Hope!

We’re looking for someone who loves hockey, has an eye for a great shot, and can help us capture the action, personalities and moments that make up a Panthers season.

This is generally a volunteer position, with the potential for incentives along the way. Whether you’re an experienced photographer or looking for an opportunity to build your portfolio and get more experience shooting sports, we’d love to hear from you!

The foundation of our roster is in place. Now we’re looking to fill the final few spots and complete our group for the season ahead.

Main Camp runs August 31 through September 4 at Jack Burger Arena, and we’re opening the door to players who believe they can add something to this Panthers lineup.

Unsigned players are welcome to attend for $25 per skate.

We know the type of team we’re building and the standard we expect. If you’re ready to compete for one of the remaining spots, we want to see you on the ice.

🚨 WE’RE LOOKING FOR A TRAINER! 🏒🐾

The Port Hope Panthers are looking for a dedicated and qualified Trainer to join our team and play an important role in the health, safety and overall care of our players throughout the season.

This is a hands-on position with responsibilities that include:

🩹 Providing first aid and emergency care at practices and games
🏒 Assessing injuries and helping determine safe return to play
💪 Supporting injury prevention, treatment, rehabilitation and recovery
📋 Maintaining appropriate injury records and communicating with coaching and management staff
🤝 Working closely with players, coaches, team staff and medical professionals when required
🚌 Travelling with the team for home and away games, as well as supporting practices and team events

We’re looking for someone with appropriate training, education and/or certification in Athletic Therapy, Kinesiology, Physiotherapy or a related field, who is dependable, organized and comfortable working in a fast-paced hockey environment.

Most importantly, we want someone who genuinely cares about our players and wants to become an important part of the Panthers family.

🚨 JOIN THE PANTHERS BENCH! 🏒🐾

The Port Hope Panthers are looking for a dependable, organized and hardworking Equipment Manager to join our team for the upcoming season!

This is a hands-on role and an important part of keeping our players prepared and our hockey operations running smoothly. Responsibilities will include:

🏒 Managing and organizing team equipment and apparel
👕 Jerseys, laundry and gear inventory
🔧 Equipment maintenance and minor repairs
🥅 Preparing the dressing room for practices and games
📋 Coordinating equipment needs with coaches and staff
🚌 Supporting the team at practices, games and team events
🤝 Working closely with our hockey operations staff and players

We’re looking for someone who is reliable, takes pride in the details and enjoys being part of a team environment. Hockey or equipment experience is definitely an asset, but finding the right person who wants to be part of what we’re building is just as important.
