Mack's Bike Shack

Good afternoon fellow riders!

I have some big news! I'll be going down to part time for the bike shack, due to the season change, I'll still be able to take new and returning clients in the evenings, but on a lower level then before.

I'd just like to thank everyone for incredible support the last few years, it's been an absolute pleasure to work with you and I hope to continue working with you in the future!

I'd still like to do give aways and give back to the community, hopefully I'll have some bikes ready to go before the snow starts, and the winners will have new bikes for spring time!

I recently had a mini give away for this small 20" kids Norco Razor mountain bike, I received from a client that told me they found it in a dumpster, and asked if I wanted to recycle or do something with it!

I had to replace the tires, tubes, all the cables and headset bearings, I had a few families around my area put their names in for a draw and I had a lot of fun giving it away!

I'm planning to do a few more give aways this summer so stay posted for some new posts coming up!

Just finished with this awesome client who needed his bike done within a week so he could go and start his adventure in the mountains!

The bike is a bit a Frankenstein creation, but all comes together beautifully, alot of custom components and off brands but I love the way it came out and so does he!

I hope it works well for him for the rest of summer and onwards!

Crazy having snow so late in the year, and such cold temperatures.

But thankfully it's starting to warm up, and I'm already overflowing with tune-ups, so please if you're looking to get your bike ready for the spring sunshine let me know!

I'll be adjusting the pricing this year starting April 20th,

My Mini Tune-up with be going from $50.00 to $65.00!

General tune-up from $80.00 to $100.00
And for full suspension bikes $120.00!

And the major tune-up from $150.00 to $215.00!

I've recently been getting into the motorcycle scene, picking it up more as a hobbie, but definitely looking at doing more technical work such as oil changes, and ofcourse cleaning and polishing!

These are all changes and expansions planned for the future, and I would love your support in making my company grow!

Hey riders! due to the insane rise in gas prices here in BC, I'll no longer be doing free pick up and delivery within the Tricities.

I'll be switching to $1-1km travelled. Meaning if I travel 5km for pick up, its $5, same goes for drop off!

My address and information will be provided, Aswell for a fair comparison!

I'm currently booking for Wednesday June 1st, 9am and 5pm!

Hey guys, just Remember, even if it's a new bike it still might get rusted, if you feel stiffness when turning the bars or more resistance when pedaling, it could be that your headset or bottom bracket is seizing!

Hello everyone! I hope you're all getting excited for Christmas and staying warm as the winter breeze comes blowing through, just wanted to post an update regarding the Mack's Bike Shack, I'll be changing the hours of operation from the regular Tuesday-Saturday to Monday to Wednesday, as of December 10th.

Let me know if you're looking to get your bikes winterized with New wet and cold weather lubricants! Bike painting will be unavailable until February 5th.

As for the post let me know if you'd like to purchase a Christmas ornament for your tree! More to come!
