🎉What a Day! 🎉

Vancouver Island Horseshoe Championship has come to a close!

We had a few players make the trip to Ladysmith and a great turn out by the other members of the clubs around the island.

We had some players place including Gord Frazer who won the Elders C division. Island Champ!

Nicole Dabney placed Second with the highest ringer average of the day for her division after a 3 way playoff for first place!

And Rick Britz won 2nd place in the Elders A class after some pretty great games above 60-70%!

If you’d like to give it a try, and see if you’ve found your new hobby, come say hi on Sundays or Wednesdays from 11-1 where you will catch us practicing!

Two of our players this weekend placed in their division at the Sooke Memorial tournament.

Nicole Dabney 2nd in Ladies A, after a play off game for 1st. Winning 3 out of 5 games. She had a high game of 64.2% and overall average of 51%

Steve Cayer who came 1st in the Mixed Men’s C, with 4 wins and 1 losses, plus a high game of 44.74%. He had an overall average of 34.34 for the tournament.

We have two other players that came for the tournament, Beau Frazer and Gord Frazer. Our President Jack Dabney also went to support and score kept!
