Alberni Field Hockey

These athletes travelled to Cowichan for some fun 8 aside games earlier this month against Victoria and Cowichan Clubs. The groups of U10 and U12 kids have a bright future with Alberni Field Hockey and events like this can only be made possible because of the collaboration of these clubs and support from Field Hockey Canada

Happy Friday! We start our Friday Awards celebrations with our Barbara Schrodt Award recipient, Heather Goodman!

The Barbara Schrodt Award is presented to an individual that has made a difference to Women’s Field Hockey in BC. This statement fits Heather Goodman perfectly; Heather is described as ‘the glue that holds everything and everyone together.’ Heather’s volunteerism is a true example of driving community sport forward. Heather’s countless hours and endless effort do not go unnoticed, and we are incredibly proud to be able to spotlight such an exceptional field hockey community member.
