As we wrap up another incredible season, the Ponoka Stampeders Jr. B hockey organization would like to extend a heartfelt THANK YOU to everyone who makes this team possible.

First and foremost, to our amazing volunteers - your time, energy, and dedication behind the scenes do not go unnoticed. Game days, events, fundraising, and everything in between - we couldn’t do it without you.

To our Board of Directors, thank you for your leadership, vision, and countless hours working behind the scenes to ensure the continued success of our program and the development of our athletes.

To our Coaches Dave and Mookie and all of our Players - thank you for your commitment, hard work, and passion for the game. You represent our community with pride, determination, and heart every time you step on the ice. Thanks to Coach Mookie, too, for being an awesome emcee for the night.

Awards were handed out last night, but as Mookie said, all of our players could have won any of these awards. This group of guys was so supportive of one another and really felt like a close-knit family.

Finally, thank you to our fans, families, and community for your continued support. We are proud to represent Ponoka and grateful to have such an incredible hockey family.

Your time, energy, and dedication make a real difference for our players and fans, and it never goes unnoticed. We are so grateful for everything you do to support the Stamps and our community.

Yesterday’s news of the Southern Alberta Mustangs hit everyone hard… it’s during times like this that you realize that hockey is more than just a sport, it’s family.

The Ponoka Stampeders are deeply saddened by the news of the accident involving members of the Southern Alberta Mustangs. Our thoughts are with the players, their families, and the entire Mustangs organization during this incredibly difficult time. Hockey is more than a game - it’s a family - and when one part of our hockey family is hurting, we all feel it. Please know you’re not alone. We’re standing with you, sending strength, love, and support.
