Fall Classic Rope Horse Futurity

Links are listed below for both the Team Roping and Breakaway.

Entries will close August 28th at midnight, late entries will be subject to a $70 fee and close August 31st at midnight.
The Open Breakaway will be pre entry only, pending how many we get, we may have to cap this for time purposes.

Thank you to the Royal Crown Canada for putting up $15,000 for eligible RCC horses! $14,000 will go towards the Team Roping ($9500 split between the 5-6yro head and heel horses, $4500 split between the 4yro head and heel horses), $1000 towards the Breakaway ($500 towards the 4yros and $500 towards the 5-6yros)

Total added money will be announced!

💥September 13 2026💥
Sorry guys, when I changed the profile photo and event description to include this years date back on April 1st, I didn’t realize that Facebook doesn’t show the entire write up and the date wasn’t visible! Apparently the April fools joke was on me!

This years Team Roping Futurity is September 13, same format as we’ve done in years past. There will be the same age categories (4 and under, as well as the 5-6yro) and an intermediate incentive sidepot just like last year.
I’m working on getting the entry form posted, entries will close Sept 1st to allow me enough time to get a draw together and program made up etc.

Again, my sincerest apologies you guys! Hopefully you expected it to be the same weekend it has been in the past and have that saved on your calendars 🤪 I’ll do better in 2027!

Looking forward to seeing you at the Bonnett’s on Sept 13!

Ps. We’re tossing some ideas around about a breakaway on the Saturday evening. The 2025 breakaway wasn’t real well attended but we sure appreciated everyone who did come out! If we can get the cattle, I’m considering doing an open ladies breakaway with Futurity sidepots this year to see how that’s recieved and make a decision moving forward if we continue to have the breakaway or not. I’d love to continue to support and help grow the breakaway Futurity scene. More on this to come! Pm me if you might be interested in helping to pull that together.

A big congratulations are in order for Derek Hadland and Jeremy Wade Buhler!

We’ve watched these guys at the Fall Classic year after year. Jerry always shows up with a trailer full of talented Futurity horses. Derek continues to show promise as a Futurity trainer and we are thankful each year for the help that he gives our event behind the scenes! We’ve enjoyed watching this pair over the first half of the rodeo season, I think they’re on to something 😉

If you own a The Breeders Elite Roping Incentive eligible horse, mark August 28-29 2026 on your calendars! We are so thankful to the BERI for choosing our event to support for the last few years. There is no arguing their incentive is growing each year and it was only a matter of time before we seen them host an event of their own. We’re here to support and so glad to see another rope horse Futurity in Canada 🇨🇦!
