The Courts at the Pinawa Club are offering Learn to Play Clinics with Alec Owen of Undaunted Pickleball. Alec hosted our clinics last year with lots of positive comments!

We have three clinics scheduled for June. See the poster below for dates and times.

Clinic fee is $7 (payable at the Courts) and entitles you to a 1.5 hr clinic and access to the Courts for the remainder of the day (availability permitting). As per the poster, please register in advance using Pickleplanner.

Equipment supplied. Just wear clean sports shoes (no Crocs or sandals).

Pinawa Foundation Community Project Month

The Courts Project - “Refurbish and Install Automated External Defibrillator”. Goal: $1,650

Community Project Month is coming to an end. Today is the last day to drop your donations off at the town office. The donation window doesn't close until May 31st, so you still have time to support this Project.

Information how to donate is below. Thank you to those of you who have already contributed to making this year's project a reality!

The Pinawa Foundation will stretch community donations by 50% (to a maximum of $3,000 per project.

Gifts can be made:
➢By cheque payable to Pinawa Foundation and mailed to Box 100, Pinawa, MB R0E 1L0 or placed in the drop box at the LGD Office between May 1st and 31st. One cheque can contribute to all or any of the projects.

➢By E-transfer to [email protected] *Please note new address*

Include your name and mailing address for your receipt to be sent, and a note detailing the project/s and corresponding donation amount.

Community Project Month is Coming to a Close at the end of May! Please consider supporting this project that will benefits both the Courts and the beach area.

Project - Refurbish and Install Automated External Defibrillator. Goal: $1,650

The AED would be located on the front of the tennis shack and could be accessed by beach visitors, Courts players and the general public during the spring, summer and fall months. The AED would be protected by suitable housing, a security camera and motion-sensitive lights to guard against theft or vandalism.
Although there are numerous AEDs in Pinawa, including in the Pinawa Club restaurant and at the swimming pool, none of them are accessible when their locations are closed The proposed tennis-shack AED would be available on a 24-hours basis to fill this gap and is closer to the likely sites of cardiac emergencies.
We already have a used ZOLL AED, but it requires refurbishing with new batteries and pads. We also need to purchase tamper-proof AED housing, security items and appropriate signage.

The Pinawa Foundation will stretch community donations by 50% (to a maximum of $3,000 per project.

Something else NEW for 2026!

Daily drop-ins passes are now available online. Head to the Pinawa Club webpage, scroll down and hit the "Online Store" button, choose "Courts" in the "Shop by Department" menu and scroll to the bottom to find the daily pass.

Scanning the QR code below will take you to the Online Store as well.

You will get an email receipt. Keep that handy to show in the pro-shop to obtain a key for the courts. Please return the key at the end of your playing time and lock the gate if you are the last to leave the courts.

You can also still pay your drop-in fee at the Pro-shop behind the main building.
