Important Program Update

It is with great disappointment and careful consideration that we announce the cancellation of the Louise Recreation After-School Program.

We averaged approximately 2.5 children per day. Unfortunately, in order to cover wages and rent alone, we would have needed to charge families approximately $35 per day, which we do not feel is reasonable or sustainable for families.

Louise Recreation did its best to support the need for childcare in our community by providing this program and creating an affordable option for local families. We are truly saddened that it has to come to an end.

We sincerely apologize for the short notice. We have spent considerable time discussing different options and trying to find a way to make the program work, but after careful consideration, we have determined that it is simply not feasible to continue at this time.

Thank you to all of the families who supported the program and trusted us with your children. We are grateful for the opportunity to serve our community and will continue looking for ways to provide meaningful recreation and programming for local families.

🚨IMPORTANT INFORMATION 🚨

1) The system may fail when everyone registers at once so keep refreshing until the form becomes available.

2) Registration time has been changed to accommodate working families. The registration time is out of Louise Recreation hours, therefore, no one will answering phone calls, emails, messages, etc. until business hours the next day.

3) You will receive an email confirming your spot when registration is complete. I was able to accommodate everyone's registration in the spring and will do my best to do so again this fall.

4) You may be asked to switch and if agreed upon, your child will be moved to a different session. This will not be done if not agreed upon.

5) Google creates different links each time you share the form. The google links will lead to the same form but will appear different.
