Dispatch from the floating studio! ⛵️✨ So grateful to be creating and connecting on the move despite all its beautiful challenges. I’ve been trying to paint everywhere we go, and I sat down to oil paint on shore at Prinyer’s. We’ve been going to Prinyer’s Cove marina for several years and it always feels like an exhale, such a peaceful and welcoming place due to its beauty and stewardship. I decided to depict the iconic, resilient tree (part of it is dead, entwined with the other half very much alive) with a view from within looking out towards the entrance of the bay. To my delight, it found a home on the property with Dave and Emily. I’m honoured that I could capture Prinyer’s in a way that the owners wanted to keep as a memento 🩵 Stay tuned for more art tales from this adventure, including some first ever painting from the dinghy! From N95 masks to extra strength gravol, your girl has been through it in the name of art! 😂
