Sound is not only something we hear.

It is something we experience.

As we become more present, we begin to notice the subtle ways vibration can enrich our awareness, inviting us to listen not only with our ears, but with our whole being.

Sometimes the deepest listening begins in stillness.

Tomorrow is our FINAL Sip & Stretch of the season at Broken Stone Winery!

Join us Saturday, August 29 at 10am for yoga in the vineyard, surrounded by vines, fresh air, and a pretty excellent excuse to spend your Saturday morning outside.

Bring your mat. Bring a friend. Come for the yoga and stay for the wine... and, of course, the pizza.

It's our last one of the season, so if you've been meaning to make it out to the vineyard, this is your moment.

Reserve your spot at serendipityyoga.ca

Yoga first. Wine and pizza afterwards. We call that balance.

Last night was pure summer magic at Poses & Petals.
Perfect weather, beautiful blooms, and a little wildlife showing off : butterflies, dragonflies, and busy bees buzzing through the flowers. Yoga surrounded by all that beauty at Blooms & Berries on East Lake, followed by an incredible sunset, made for the happiest kind of evening.

Good energy, great people, flowers everywhere, and a sunset that put the perfect finishing touch on the night.

What a night!

The full moon is arriving this week, and she’s bringing a little extra drama.

Thursday night, the Sturgeon Moon will rise as part of a beautiful celestial show, with a partial lunar eclipse giving the moon a reddish glow. After a summer filled with a total solar eclipse and the Perseid meteor shower, the sky is keeping things interesting.

And while the moon does its thing, we’re going to do ours: slow down.

Join us Thursday at Serendipity Yoga for a special Full Moon Yoga Nidra practice, an opportunity to reset the nervous system, rest deeply and restore.

No striving. No sweating. No complicated poses. Just get comfortable, close your eyes and let yourself be guided into deep rest.

In person or online, you choose.

Come take a pause from the busy-ness of August and give your nervous system the gift of doing absolutely nothing for a little while.

In studio + online

Save your spot and join us for a little lunar inspired rest and restoration. Your nervous system will thank you.

Monday is coming in hot, and thankfully, so are your options for yoga.

Whether you prefer to practice in person at The Armoury, online from the comfort of your own home, or out at the Wellington Legion, we’ve got plenty of ways to start the week moving, stretching and generally pretending we have our lives together.

There are lots of classes to choose from throughout the day, so find the one that works for you, roll out your mat and come practice with us.

Because Monday is going to happen whether you’re ready for it or not. You might as well do some yoga.

Our 4th 200-hour Hatha Yoga Teacher Training cohort starts this October.

This eight-month, Canadian Yoga Alliance certified program is about so much more than learning how to teach yoga. It’s an opportunity to deepen your own practice, explore the philosophy and foundations of yoga, build confidence and, ultimately, find your own voice.

And a little personal perspective: when I did my own teacher training, I had absolutely no intention of teaching yoga.

And look at me now.

So if you’ve been thinking about teacher training but aren’t sure where it might lead, you don’t need to have it all figured out. Give yourself eight months to learn, explore and see what happens.

Maybe this is where your yoga journey takes an unexpected turn, too.

Our next 200-hour Hatha Yoga Teacher Training begins in October.

Send me a message to learn more.

Our first evening at Blooms and Berries was such a beautiful experience that we simply had to do it again. So, we're heading back to the flower field for Poses & Petals 2.0!

Think golden hour, outdoor yoga, fresh air, flowers everywhere, and maybe a few butterflies making an appearance. We'll move, breathe and soak up the last bit of summer before heading into the flower field to pick your own gorgeous 20-stem bouquet to take home.

It's yoga with a little extra magic.

Tuesday, August 25
6:30–8:00 PM
Blooms and Berries
84 County Road 11
$50 per person

Bring your mat, a water bottle, and a friend. Come for the yoga, stay for the flowers, and leave with a bouquet and a big dose of summer happiness.

Sometimes the best feedback is the kind that comes straight from the mat.

I received this lovely message from one of our clients today after taking a double Gentle and Yin practice with Stephanie M:

“She did an amazing job, adding a lot of different stretches and making it her own practice. She was great.”

And honestly, this made me smile.

I am so grateful when clients take the time to share their experiences with me. Feedback like this means so much, especially because I know how much heart, thought and care our instructors put into every practice they teach.

One of the things I value most about our team is that I encourage each instructor to be authentically themselves. I don't want everyone teaching the same way or sounding the same. I want them to bring their own personality, energy, creativity and experience to the mat.

Stephanie does exactly that.

She shows up as herself, teaches from the heart and makes every practice her own. And when a client notices that and takes the time to tell me, it is pretty special.

Thank you to our clients for continuing to share your feedback and for supporting our instructors. And thank you, Stephanie, for being unapologetically you.

This is the kind of yoga community I am grateful to be building.

Yoga, sunshine, fresh air, and a little time spent moving well.

It was a pleasure to guide today’s outdoor practice at Benson Park, sponsored by the Royal Hotel and coordinated by Messina Movement.

Wonderful energy, beautiful weather, and the kind of morning that makes you wonder why we ever practice indoors.

Grateful for the good company and the chance to move, breathe, and connect outside.

Earlier this week we celebrated ONE YEAR of Stephanie R guiding practices at Serendipity Yoga.

Stephanie brings so much positivity, energy and encouragement to the studio. She’s outgoing, endlessly motivational and always ready to cheer you on, even if she can’t quite count to five when she’s leading YogaFit.

A huge thank you to Stephanie for everything she does, day in and day out, at the studio and on and off her mat. We’re so lucky to have her as part of the Serendipity family.

And of course, if you ask her nicely, she might even sing for you.

Happy one year Serendipity anniversary, Stephanie! We’re so glad you’re a part of the Serendipity family.
