Pickering Panthers Hockey Club is proud to announce our New Assistant Coach

Mike Battah

 
Mike is the Head coach of the Ajax Pickering Raiders U18 AAA program since the 2021/22 season. In those 5 years, the program has had an overall record of 287-35-17-8, and has advanced 23 players into the Ontario Hockey League, QMJHL, and NCAA Division 1 hockey programs.

Battah, also a member of the Erie Otters scouting staff from 2013-2024, serving as the Director of Scouting from 2017 to the end of his time with the club, Is a current member of the Niagara Ice Dogs scouting staff.

Mike has also worked with head coach Corey Beer with the Whitby Fury from 2011-2013 including a Buckland Cup finals appearance in 2012

The boys are hitting the road today as they take on the Markham Royals in their first pre-season game of the season! The puck drops inside Honey and Barry Memorial Arena at 4:15pm.
