Racing can be full of highs and lows, but sometimes, drivers seem to get dealt a particularly unlucky hand. That’s where the TMS Bin Rentals Bad Luck Award comes in!

At each Ontario Legend Car Series race, we recognize a driver who had a particularly rough night. Whether it was mechanical trouble, an incident, terrible luck, or just one of those races where absolutely nothing seemed to go their way.

Unfortunately we have another rained out race day.😔 Peterborough Speedway has cancelled all racing today due to weather.

It’s RACE WEEK!

We’re heading back to Peterborough Speedway this Saturday, August 22, and this one is going to be a BIG night of racing!

Racing starts at 6:00 PM and we’re kicking off the night by running the feature race that was rained out during our last visit to Peterborough Speedway, sponsored by Brian’s Towing!

Once that feature is complete, we’ll get back to the regular race-day schedule with our National Qualifier Race, proudly sponsored by Einarson Trucking.

Both of our feature race sponsors are supporting races that were previously lost due to weather or timing, so we’re excited to finally get these races back on the track!

And there’s something special for the youngest race fans too....Kids bike races during intermission! Kids, bring your bikes and helmets and get ready to hit with your wheels!

Some people would get the impression that Mother Nature isn’t a race fan. At least teams with the Trailers Plus Ontario Legend Car Series are starting to feel that way.

After having a pair of shows rained-out August 1st and 2nd at Sauble Speedway, 21 of the group’s racers rolled through the pit gates at Peterborough Speedway Saturday, August 8th. Even with the probability of heavy rain and thunderstorms in the area, things seemed to be rolling along in the right direction…until they weren’t. Shortly after the first round of practice hit the track, the rain began.

Like everyone else, Trailers Plus Ontario Legend Car Series racers, crew members, family, friends and group officials settled in for a couple of hours of bench racing until Mother Nature decided enough was enough and gave everyone hope that the sun would finally shine on their racing plans…albeit an hour behind the scheduled start time.

Once Peterborough Speedway officials were finally able to work the popular Central Ontario oval into raceable condition, the group was able run off a set of qualifying heats that saw Andrew (Jim) McFadden, Keaton Pipe, Dawson Drimmie and Mackenzie Milwain take checkered flags – on a very green racetrack – to kick off the night of racing, presented by Brian’s Towing.

With a full night of racing on the agenda and a limited window of opportunity, track staff was working hard to get everything completed in the allotted time. As the 11:00 curfew drew closer, it was clear that the Ontario Legend Car Series would have to wait for another day.

The group’s next appearance at the venue on Mount Pleasant Road will be Saturday, August 22nd and the delayed feature event will open the night’s program. The Peterborough Speedway team and Trailers Plus Ontario Legend Car Series officials appreciate the support and patience of racers and fans on a very busy, rain delayed night at the track.

Mother nature took us off track last weekend but the Ontario Legend Car Series is ready to return to racing this Saturday at Peterborough Speedway!

Racing starts at 6:00 PM, so come early, grab your favourite spot, and get ready for a thrilling evening featuring some of Ontario's best Legend Car drivers.

Our second race day of the weekend at Sauble Speedway has been cancelled due to weather. 😢

The excitement continues for back-to-back racing as the Ontario Legend Car Series will be completing the second race of our double header weekend at Sauble Speedway on Sunday August 2nd!

The competition will remain fierce heading into day two at the track as we continue racing alongside the Great Lakes Legends, bringing together two talented Legend Car series for another thrilling night of side-by-side action.

We'll also be continuing Keaton Pipe Racing's Laps4MD fundraiser in support of Muscular Dystrophy Canada. The Ontario Legend Car Series is back in action this week as we head to Sauble Speedway for an exciting double-header weekend!

First up is our race on Saturday, August 1! A huge thank you to Simcoe County Auto & RV Outlet for sponsoring Saturday night's racing. Their continued support of grassroots motorsports helps make nights like these possible, and we're proud to have them as our Race Day Sponsor.

This weekend, we'll also be turning up the competition as we join forces with the Great Lakes Legends. It's always exciting to see competitors from both series come together for some incredible on-track battles!

Racing starts at 6:00 PM, so be sure to grab your seat early and get ready for a fantastic night at Sauble Speedway. Can't make it to the track? No problem! Saturday night's races will be broadcast live on Racing America, so you won't have to miss a lap of the action.

We'll also be supporting an incredible cause throughout the weekend. One of our drivers, Keaton Pipe, is once again hosting his Laps4MD fundraiser in support of Muscular Dystrophy Canada.
