Good morning all!

I won't be in Kelowna today at the Ghostly Garlic Festival. I got my tires torqued late Friday after swapping tires the other day, and I didn't notice the warped feeling when driving until yesterday. The shop is closed for the weekend, and I know that I wanted to chance going, but then I didn't sleep well feeling like I shouldn't chance driving. I googled the problem, and of course, highway driving is absolutely not recommended as they may have been over-torqued 😢

This is the last Saturday for the Penticton Community Market.

Come on by and check out the vendors for the last weekend of the season. We are there from 8:30-1:30.

Then I will be heading to Kelowna for the Ghostly Garlic Festival at the Rutland Centennial Park from 9-4 on Sunday.

The sun has come out to play, so you should too! 😁

We’re pleased to share that the Summerland Rotary Sunday Market will return this Sunday, August 23, from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm.

After everything our community has faced over the past couple of weeks, we’re grateful to be able to welcome our vendors, visitors and neighbours back to downtown Summerland.

We also know this remains an incredibly difficult time for many in our community. Our thoughts continue to be with everyone impacted by the wildfire, particularly those who have lost their homes or are still dealing with its aftermath.

A heartfelt thank you to the firefighters, first responders, emergency personnel, volunteers and everyone who has worked so hard to support and protect Summerland. ❤️
