The last time I went to an auction, I told myself I wasn’t bringing my trailer because I was not bringing a horse home.
Well… I ended up driving back to get it. When I saw Honey, I knew she had to come home with us.

Her sweet demeanor, her kind eyes, and her gentle soul caught me instantly.

Honey became many riders’ “firsts”their first ride, first trot, first canter, first time around a barrel, and even their first trail ride. She carried each one with patience, softness, and a heart full of trust.

She has spent the last several years retired, enjoying all the food she wanted, roaming the property with her friends, and sleeping in a warm, comfy stall.

Now her time has come to meet her best friend Lacy again, who passed a few years ago.

Rest easy, sweet soul. You are so deeply missed.
