August has been BUSY at Airborne Petawawa and we’ve been sending first time tandem skydivers into the Ottawa Valley sky all month.

Views over the Ottawa River and Algonquin Park.
And a whole lot of people landing with that “I need to do that again” look on their face. 😂

Nearly 50 years after earning his Airborne wings, Morgan is back under a parachute!

Last year, Morgan celebrated his birthday with a tandem skydive. Yesterday, he returned to celebrate his daughter Brianna's birthday by jumping together again!

✈️ Airborne knows Airborne ✈️ When Morgan landed, another tradition continued. Our owner, Raul, proudly challenged him to produce his Airborne coin.

🌍 A new World Skydiving Day record has been set!

On July 11, skydivers from 43 countries came together to make history, completing 31,075 recorded skydives in a single day and setting a new World Skydiving Day record!

From first-time tandem students to experienced skydivers, every jump helped showcase the strength, passion and global spirit of our community. Thank you to every participant, drop zone, organizer and volunteer who made this incredible achievement possible.
