Our Horses Need Your Help ❤️
The past month has been one of the hardest we've ever faced.
Between a cougar attack, wildfire evacuation, evacuation related injuries, multiple horse injuries and unexpected emergency veterinary visits, our veterinary bills have grown far beyond what we anticipated.
Rather than starting a GoFundMe, we wanted to create something that brings our community together.
On Saturday, September 5th, we're hosting a Horse Ride Fundraiser at Giddy Up Equine Experiences.
🐴 15-minute horse rides
💲 $30 per rider
👨👩👧 All ages welcome
📅 Pre-booking required
Every dollar raised from horse rides will go directly toward our recent veterinary bills.

There truly aren't enough words to express how grateful we are.
Since Wednesday night, we witnessed the very best of our community. In a time of uncertainty, we were surrounded by kindness, generosity and compassion in a way we'll never forget.
The messages, phone calls, offers of trailers, places for our animals, somewhere to stay, meals and people simply checking in to make sure we were okay meant more than we could ever put into words. Every offer, every message and every act of kindness reminded us that we were never facing this alone.
The support didn't stop in Pemberton. The Squamish community and people as far as 100 mile wrapped their arms around us too. People we know and people we had never even met were ready to hitch up a trailer or open their property without hesitation. That kind of selflessness is something we'll carry with us forever.
To the BC Wildfire Service, firefighters, emergency personnel, volunteers and everyone working tirelessly to protect our beautiful valley, thank you. Your courage, dedication and countless hours of hard work have meant everything to our community.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you to every single person who reached out, offered help, shared resources, checked in or simply kept us in your thoughts. This experience reminded us that Pemberton is so much more than a town, it's a family. We have never been more grateful to call this beautiful place home.
