This journey has connected me with some pretty incredible humans.

There’s something special about the finish line. 💛

I stood here with a bear bell in my hand, waiting for every single runner to arrive. Every cheer, every smile, every emotional finish reminded me that the Joy Run has never been just a race. It’s about courage, connection, hope, and reminding each other that no one finishes alone.

As Race Director and founder, my heart is overflowing with gratitude and pride. Watching this community lift one another up is something I’ll never take for granted.

If you crossed this finish line, know that you were part of something bigger than yourself.

And I know my brother would be proud too. This run was, and always will be, in his memory. 💙

So thank you to each and person who volunteered, ran, cheered, and supported us.
