There were 97 Salmon and 174 Trout entered today for a total of 271.

There were several changes in the leading fish today.
The leading Salmon, Ken McLay of Meaford 10.695 kg, 23.74 lb

The leading Trout and leading Lake Trout, Thomas Moore, Owen Sound, 10.84 kg, 24.06 lb

The Rainbow Trout leader remains unchanged, William Hanna, Collingwood, 5.205 kg, 11.56 lb

The Brown Trout leader remains unchanged, Joel Benninger, Hanover, 1.47 kg, 3.24 lb

We have to share these amazing photos of massive fish caught this Derby year! Please share.

There are so many people across Ontario who are in the Derby. This couple came up from across Ontario and were originally local to the area, and are fishing even on a rainy day and been here for the last two days, fishing from the shoreline.

They know that it's not about being out in the water on a boat half the time, but sometimes the biggest fish are caught directly from the pier or shoreline. Wish them luck, everyone.

The McDonald's Salmon Spectacular for Kids day! There's so much here for you and your little ones like live demonstrations, games, and a zipline! Also stop by the mix tent for a chance to win our coloring contest
