Rather than risk soggy footing (or turn our beautiful park into a mud wrestling venue 😬), we’ve moved today’s show to our RAIN DATE:

All entries from today have automatically been moved to September 5th.

Can’t make Sept. 5? Your entry can be moved to our September 26th show or used as credit toward Play in the Park instead.

And keep watching our page — we’ll be sneaking in some discounted Play in the Park nights between now and Sept. 5th. A perfect chance to come practice the obstacles and get VERY well acquainted with the courses before show day. 👀🐴

So today: stay home, love on your horses, and save the horse trailer loading for another day. 😂

Rather than watching the forecast obsessively and waiting until the very last minute to make the inevitable call, we’ve decided to reschedule this Saturday’s Brightside Working Trail Schooling Show to our rain date:

All current entries will automatically be moved to September 5th — you don’t need to do anything. If we don’t hear from you - your entry is automatically bumped to Sept 5th!

Can’t make September 5th? No worries! Your entry can be moved to:

🐴 Saturday, September 26th — our previously scheduled September show
OR
🌿 Obstacle Park credits to come out and play in the park instead.

We know changing dates isn’t ideal, but having slippery footing that is unsafe and preserving the grounds to keep the park in great shape means we’ll all have a much better day when Mother Nature decides to cooperate. 💚

And there is a silver lining to those storm clouds… 👀

Keep your eyes on our social media for some SUPER FUN discounted group Play in the Park nights between now and September 5th! 🎉🐴

They’ll be a great chance to come out, practice the show courses, get your horse comfortable with the obstacles, figure out the tricky bits, and head into show day feeling like you’ve already got the courses figured out. 🙌

So Saturday’s show may be postponed… but the fun definitely isn’t. Please share this message so we can get the news out quickly!

🌦️ But what happens if it RAINS on Saturday?! 🌧️🐴

We’ve had a few people asking, so here’s the plan!

As much as we’d love to control the weather (we’re working on it 😜 — but if y’all could collectively blow these storm clouds away, that’d be great 💨☁️😂), we do have a Plan B.

Our biggest concern with significant rain is protecting the footing and the park itself. Wet grass can get slippery and we sure don’t want any accidents. Also we work really hard to keep the grounds in great condition so that we can all enjoy them on the many beautiful days ahead. 💚🌿

☀️ If it’s rainy/stormy - the call will be made first thing Saturday morning to postpone.
Please check our Facebook/social media before loading up and heading our way. We’ll post as early as possible to let everyone know whether the Brightside Working Trail Schooling Show is ON or moving to an alternate rain date.

And if Mother Nature wins this round, your show registration won’t go to waste. Your booking can be transferred to:
