Sometimes in Krav Maga we have to solve problems that look alike but are not the same and require different solutions. This is an example, using knife to the throat…

Shalom all,

2027 is a pivotal year for Krav Maga Ottawa- we will be celebrating our 20th anniversary! From my humble beginnings teaching for free in community centres to building the biggest and best school in Canada and training thousands of civilians and professionals, it’s been a long journey!
Many TBA special events will be organized throughout the year, leading to our September celebrations.
For instance, I will be doing a 20th Anniversary tour, travelling the globe to teach seminars and courses to anyone, from any organization.
Krav Maga Ottawa has remained committed to authentic Krav Maga as it was always meant to be taught.

If you are interested in hosting me in your country/school, feel free to DM me! There is nothing I love doing more than spreading the knowledge and experience I accumulated over almost four decades, with serious Kravists around the world.

Be safe!

A stick-like object like a bat or axe handle or tire iron can be use very effectively against a knife welding attacker. Yesterday in the mixed level class students practiced different timelines, from keeping attacker away to defending the knife with the stick to attacking with the stick.
If possible, you must take out the attacker’s leg whenever you can- aiming for the knee.
As the great Sensei Terry Silver once said…a man can’t stand…he can’t fight 😁
Do you regularly train on the use of cold weapons in your school?
Comments welcome but as usual be respectful…or be gone!

Shalom!
So this is a video I posted back in February on the group “Krav Maga for All” - it brought me a lot of grief from the administrators who thought it was disrespectful to “make fun” of what others do. I ended up leaving the group altogether. I added the first few seconds to show you what I’m talking about. I am reposting because it has became relevant again in the context of a relentless harassment campaign against me and Krav Maga in general by Mr. Abolnik, the wrap-the-arm king 😎
I feel like it’s more of a PSA than a disrespectful video but you be the judge 😏

Shalom!
So this Albonik clown is at it again, copying my videos (he is looking for old ones, the guy has a fixation with me! Dare I say obsession?) and showing students practicing, then using it to attack me and Krav Maga. I won’t give this insecure, out-of-shape idiot too much lip service anymore but since he’s failing I thought I would help him by making a little promo poster for him. I hope this helps with his classes. You are welcome, Idan, this one is free!
Feel free to share!
