New on the Practice Resource Centre: the Ocular Chemical Burns Learning Module provides a comprehensive, case-based review of the assessment and management of ocular chemical injuries.

Designed for practising ophthalmologists, ophthalmology residents and medical students, the module covers acid and alkali burns, immediate irrigation and acute management, prognostic indicators, medical and surgical treatment options, and long-term complications.

Neurotrophic keratitis can progress silently, placing patients at risk of corneal melting, perforation and vision loss. An upcoming COS learning module will provide a practical, stage-based approach to recognizing and managing this challenging ocular surface disorder.

Congratulations again to Dr. Andrew Samuel, winner of the COS Ergonomics Challenge!
