Meet Phil 👋

Phil has been selling and assembling bikes with us at Giant Ottawa for the past three years — so if you’ve bought a bike here, there’s a pretty good chance he had a hand in getting it ready for you.

Phil likes one thing when it comes to riding: going fast. 😂 You’ll usually find him on his Trinity time trial bike, his Propel road bike, or his gravel bike — and if you ride around Ottawa or Gatineau, there’s a decent chance he’s passed you at some point.

Lately, he’s also been getting into regional gravel events, so keep an eye out for him at the starting line.

Phil is seriously detail-oriented, so if you want to talk tire pressures, stem lengths, bike setup or training plans, he’s your guy.

Meet Nick

Nick is a second-generation cyclist who grew up around bikes, following in the footsteps of his dad, Lino. He’s been riding mountain bikes since he was young and has spent the last two years helping riders find the perfect bike at Giant.

His current lineup includes a Giant XTC for the trails and a TCR for the road—although if you ask him what his favourite bike is, don’t be surprised if the answer changes tomorrow. He loves everything from mountain to road and is always happy to talk bikes.

When he’s not helping customers, you’ll probably find him keeping up with football, basketball, hockey, golf, or baseball. If it’s on, he’s probably watching it.
