We had so much fun coaching these players for 25 mins while doing drills, then watching everyone practice what they just learned in a game to finish off the session! (as you can see from the photos, our coaches are all smiles being on the ice teaching you all)😄

Congratulations to James & Josée who were the two players chosen as MVPs for the Adult Development Club: Practice & Play on Friday! They demonstrated strong work ethic, great team work & brought great energy to the session 💥

Congrats to Alexandre Misha who was the Adult Development Club MVP for showing up even though he couldn’t participate and providing the best support AND brought elite level snacks for post game recovery 🍊🍌

In a short period of time the Adult Development Club has become an important piece of our mission! 🏒

To keep hockey fun and affordable for all, that means not just for kids!

Many adults haven’t had the chance to play hockey when they were kids, or they did, but when life got serious as they got older, the first thing they dropped was the sport they loved, and we get to bring back that joy or create that space for those that get to experience their childhood dreams as an adult!

We have a special guest coming out to our last weekend of summer clinics 👀

We will have a Meet & Greet area set up beside Sam at the registration table for a local children's author: Patricia Denis!

Patricia will be there throughout the duration of the clinics this weekend (9:00am-1:30pm)

About the Author

Patricia Denis is an educator, advocate, and program leader with over a decade of experience mentoring youth and supporting families in the justice and community service sectors. With a strong foundation in program development and trauma-informed care, she is passionate about creating inclusive, nurturing spaces for growth and healing. This book marks Patricia's debut as a children's author, inspired by the deeply personal and transformative experience of parenting a child with selective mutism. Patricia has two young daughters and is Matt's wife (some of you may have seen Matt on the ice coaching the kids)

💥Player Spotlight💥

Congratulations to Tom & Alex who were the two players chosen as MVPs for the Adult Development Club: Practice & Play on Friday!

Tom was chosen for his team support, it stood out that he was always looking for a passing option, he also back checked really hard (anyone who has played beer league knows how rare this is, which says a lot about Tom 😂)!

Alex was chosen for his great attitude to improve, he was locked in, carried the puck with confidence, and our coaches loved the fact that he’s the first person in his family to learn how to play hockey which shows a lot about his willingness to grow and learn as an adult!

These two players demonstrated exactly what the Adult Development Club is all about!
