Congratulations to all of our clients that participated at the Gaelic Glen rewind and The Parks 1. Special thanks to Shelby our braider for our beautiful braids in honor of Lizšš©µ. This weekend, our friend Liz Coventry was on our minds and in our hearts. Liz was full of life and always did her best to support everyone unconditionally. She was a beautiful person, with a huge heart and an infectious smile. We have suffered a great loss to the community. Mental health does not belong to one profession it belongs to all of us. Letās be sure to listen to each other. Support each other. Letās focus on what counts. We donāt know what the other person is going through. If one conversation can remind someone they matter, letās keep showing up every single day.

A few moments with , Adele (grey) and Ria (bay).
Adele is loving her semi-retired life and makes sure Heather doesnāt forget her carrots. Ria is a new partnership and the youngest in the barn now. She is being such a good girl and adapting well to life as a hunter.

Itās with a heavy heart we had to say good bye yesterday to our very special Gamine AKA Gabby. Gabby was notoriously known for being reliable but ornery š¤£. She was one of the most intelligent horses I have ever worked with. She taught but tested each and every rider. I am sure she would have taken on Ian Millar himself Lol. She had to have ear stuffies and watch out if you forgot to put them in or lost one. She always knew when you were vertically challenged because putting them in was quite a task. She only enjoyed affection if there was a treat involved then she wore her pretty face.
As every professional knows there is always that one special horse in your career and for me she was one of them. We knew each other so well. She knew not to test me and I her. She was a get on and go model. Rare. One of a kind. She was the kind of horse that loved to show and once you stepped into that ring you always knew she was there for you. It was undeniable. She had a competitive spirit. We were never worried that she wouldnāt look after those students who had the opportunity to show such a great horse.
For those that had the privilege to own or lease Gabby she was a great friend to all. I think I speak for everyone that knew her that she has touched all of our hearts for life. She was the ultimate unicorn.
Gabby you are gone but will never be forgottenā¤ļø.
Special thanks to our vet and good friend Maureen for her calm compassion and kindness.
