Welcome Home, OGC Alumni! 💙
OGC was thrilled to welcome two of our alumni, Alex Reddick and Cleante Théoret, home for the summer!
While home from university, Alex, who competes for Central Michigan University, and Cleante, who competes for University of New Hampshire, spent time training alongside our current OGC athletes.
It was so special to have them back in the gym—supporting, encouraging, and inspiring the next generation of gymnasts while sharing their experience and passion for the sport. Their presence was a wonderful reminder of the OGC community and the journey that continues long after athletes leave our gym. 🤸‍♀️💙
We are so proud to see where their gymnastics journeys have taken them and grateful that they chose to spend part of their summer back where it all began!

🤸 Parents of little climbers — we have a place for them! 💜

Hi Ottawa parents! 👋

I'm Mike, the Recreational Program Manager at the Ottawa Gymnastics Centre (OGC) in Westboro.

We're hoping to introduce more local families with young children to our Parent & Tot gymnastics programs.

If your little one is constantly climbing the furniture, jumping, rolling, crawling over everything or generally finding creative ways to keep you on your toes, gymnastics can give them a safe and fun place to explore all that energy! 😂

Our Parent & Tot programming focuses on:

⭐ Climbing and exploring
⭐ Balance and coordination
⭐ Running, jumping and rolling
⭐ Building confidence through movement
⭐ Developing early physical literacy
⭐ Having fun with a parent/caregiver right there with them

This isn't about teaching toddlers complicated gymnastics skills. It's about giving young children an exciting environment where they can move, explore and build confidence at their own pace.

And parents get to be part of the experience too. 💜
