Yesterday, we were honoured to attend a special Sport Canada event at the Sir John A. Macdonald Building celebrating more than 140 Olympic and Paralympic athletes from across Canada. 🇨🇦

We were proud to bring our Street Curl unit so athletes from a wide variety of sports could give curling a try throughout the event.

A highlight was hearing Prime Minister Mark Carney recognize the incredible accomplishments of Canada’s athletes, including the historic achievement of the Wheelchair Curling Canada Team, who went undefeated through round robin play (and brought home a gold!).

Thank you to Sport Canada for the invitation and to everyone who stopped by to throw a few rocks with us. It was an incredible celebration of Canadian sport, community, and excellence.

The OVCA recently hosted a U15/U18 Free Agent Clinic, and we were thrilled to see 42 young, enthusiastic players come out in search of new teammates and coaches. The energy and passion on the ice made this event truly special.

A big thank you to everyone who participated, and a special shoutout to the RCMP Curling Club for supporting this important youth curling initiative as we wrap up the season.

With so much talent and excitement, there are definitely new and exciting things ahead—bigger and better moments are on the horizon!

Thanks to Stittsville and Glen Gower for putting on an amazing celebration this morning! Everyone had a great time celebrating Collinda!

Great news! We will receive the keys to our newly rebuilt club mid-July and our first day of curling will be October 5th!

It's been a long, challenging season, but we are looking forward to being home!

Special thanks to the Ottawa Hunt and Golf Club, the RA Curling Club, and City View Curling Club - New PAGE for hosting us this season.

The Crystal Heart Curling Classic Committee is looking for an additional committee member for the role of EVENT DINNER COORDINATOR.

They host an annual bonspiel early February and a 9 member committee from the Ottawa area organizes it. They raise approximately $77,000 annually that goes towards WOMENS RESEARCH - HEART AND STROKE.

There are monthly meetings from October to March and the dinner to coordinate.
