Turns out, the cure is more dragon boat.

This is a fun group of paddlers. Whatever I ask them to do for a reel, they’ll do it. They don’t know the vision, idea or what the end result will be, they just go along with it.

Three races. Three wins. One unforgettable weekend. 🥇

The ODM C Mixed crew left everything on the water at the Canadian-American Club Crew Championships in Montreal. After two days of hard-fought racing, they swept the 200m, 500m, and 2,000m races to earn the overall C Mixed Small Boat Championship.

This gold wasn’t won by chance. It was built through months of training, trust, and teamwork as paddlers from our ODM C Open and ODM C Women crews came together as one boat.

Congratulations to every paddler, coach, drummer, and steersperson who made this moment possible. What a performance. What a crew.

🥇 C Mixed Small Boat Champions. See you at the next start line.

Four days. Countless races. New friendships. Memories that will last long after the medals are put away.

The 2nd Canadian-American Club Crew Championships brought together crews from across Canada and the U.S. for an incredible weekend of racing in Montreal. We battled through every heat, every sprint, and every finish line—and both our B Open and C Open crews proudly brought home silver medals.

But as always, the best part of dragon boat is the people. It was a pleasure sharing the dock, the marshalling area, and the race course with so many amazing clubs, including Phoenix Heat Canoe Club, Gig Harbor Dragon Boat Club, and Bucks Dragon Boat Club. We can’t wait to see you all again.

Thank you to everyone who made this championship one to remember. Until the next start line.
