National Drowning Prevention Week may be coming to an end, but water safety is a commitment we make every day. π
A special thank you to for leading this important initiative and continuing to educate families across Ontario on how we can all become more water smart.
Every conversation, every swim lesson, every properly fitted lifejacket, and every watchful adult helps prevent tragedy.
Let's keep the message going beyond this week:
π¦ Learn to swim.
π Wear a lifejacket.
π Stay within arm's reach.
β€οΈ Share what you've learned.
Together, we can build safer, more confident communities in and around the water.

Did you know?
Many people picture drowning as loud splashing and calls for help. In reality, it often happens quickly and silently, making constant supervision around water more important than ever.
As we recognize National Drowning Prevention Week (July 19 β25), take a moment to refresh these life-saving reminders:
π Stay within arm's reach of young children.
π Keep your eyes on the water. Avoid distractions like phones.
π Enroll your family in swim lessons to build confidence and essential water skills.
π Always follow safe swimming practices, whether you're at the pool, beach, or cottage.
At Aqua Life, we believe water safety starts long before anyone gets in the pool. Education, supervision, and swimming skills all play a role in preventing drowning.

π€ Share it with a parent, grandparent, or caregiver.
Together, we can help make this summer a safer one.
