We offer four different Adult Ballet classes, each designed for a different level of experience, so you can find the class that feels right for you.

🩰 Adult Beginner Ballet

Never danced before? No clue where to start? This class is for you!

Adult Beginner Ballet is designed for absolute beginners and offers the perfect introduction to ballet in a welcoming, supportive environment.

Every step is explained, the class moves at a comfortable pace, and no previous dance experience is needed. You’ll have the opportunity to learn the foundations of ballet, build confidence, and enjoy moving to beautiful music, without any pressure to already know what you’re doing.

This class is completely inclusive and open to absolutely anyone who has ever wanted to give ballet a try. ✨

It’s never too late to start dancing. 🩰

🩰 Adult Intermediate Ballet

Have some ballet experience and ready for something a little more challenging?

Adult Intermediate Ballet is perfect for dancers who have trained before, perhaps you took ballet once a week for a few years, danced when you were younger, or already feel comfortable with the foundational steps and terminology.

The class moves at a slightly quicker pace than our Beginner class, while still allowing time for explanation and guidance when needed.

It’s the perfect middle ground for dancers who want to build on what they already know, develop their technique and confidence, and enjoy a little more challenge without jumping into an advanced class. ✨

🩰 Adult Advanced Ballet & Pointe

For dancers with a strong background in advanced ballet training.

Perhaps you trained intensively throughout your childhood and teenage years and are now returning to ballet after a break. Maybe you’re a current or former professional dancer looking for

2026–27 registration is now open at Ottawa Dance Centre School.

We are so excited to welcome both new and returning dancers back into the studio this September for another incredible year of learning, growth, and inspiration.

From The Tiny Dancer Club and recreational classes to our Junior Ballet Gateway Program, Ballet Intensive Program, adult classes, contemporary, jazz, and more, there’s a place for every dancer at ODCS.
