You cannot control everything that happens in a tennis match.
You can control what happens next.
Mental performance begins when players stop wasting energy on the opponent, the conditions, the last point, or the result—and redirect that energy toward their breathing, body language, decisions, and response.
Control the next ball.

Fall/Winter 2026 Player Recruitment Is Now Open
SCORE Tennis is beginning placement conversations for committed junior players seeking a structured, standards-based training environment.
We are looking for players who are prepared to train with purpose, accept coaching, strengthen their fundamentals, compete, and take increasing responsibility for their development.
Placement is not determined by age alone. We consider each player’s current level, goals, training history, competitive needs, commitment, and fit within the group.
Places will remain limited so we can protect coaching quality and the standards of the training environment.
If your family is looking for purposeful coaching and a clear development pathway, send us a private message with FALL/WINTER.
Please include the player’s age, current level, training history, and goals.

More training is not always better training.
The right environment matters. The right training group matters. The right standards matter.
SCORE Tennis is beginning placement conversations for our Fall/Winter 2026 junior programs.
Our programs are designed for players who want more than court time. We work with athletes who are prepared to train with purpose, accept coaching, develop strong fundamentals, compete, and take increasing responsibility for their progress.
Placement is not based on age alone. We consider the player’s current level, goals, training commitment, competitive needs, and fit within the group.
Fall/Winter pathways will include competitive and high-performance development, with limited places available to protect coaching quality and training standards.
If you are looking for the easiest or most flexible option, SCORE may not be the right environment.
If your family is looking for a structured development program with clear expectations and purposeful coaching, we would be pleased to begin a conversation.
Send us a private message with FALL/WINTER and include your player’s age, current level, and development goals.

More tennis is not always better tennis.
Players and families are often told that development requires more lessons, more tournaments, and more exposure. Those things only matter when the work is guided by clear standards.
At SCORE Tennis Academy, we believe every part of a player’s development should have a purpose. Technical skill, tactical decision-making, movement, physical preparation, mental performance, and competition planning must work together.
We are not building a volume academy. We are building a standards-driven development environment for athletes who want to understand where they are, what the next level requires, and what work will close the gap.
That same philosophy guides Gold Standard Tennis, where we study the common principles behind elite performance and translate them into practical information for developing players.
We have also created a free SCORE Tennis community for players, parents, and coaches who want clearer, evidence-informed guidance without the noise and guesswork that often surround junior development.
If that approach resonates with you, join us here:

Better information leads to better decisions. Better decisions, repeated consistently, change development.

Not every young tennis player needs more training.
Many need more clarity.
Parents are often told that progress depends on adding another lesson, another camp or another tournament. Those things can help, but only when they address the right developmental priority. At SCORE Tennis, our responsibility is to identify what matters most for the individual player and build the training around it. That may be technical development. It may be movement, decision-making, physical preparation or learning how to respond under pressure. More is not automatically better. Better-directed work is better.
We are building a standards-driven tennis environment for families in Ottawa, Orleans, Embrun and the surrounding communities who want to understand how development actually works.

Congratulations to this week’s SCORE Player Development Fund recipients.
Luxan earned $150 and Avyukt earned $50 to invest back into their tennis development.
The goal of our Development Fund isn’t simply to reward winning. It’s to reward players who consistently train, compete, improve, and invest in the process. Every dollar earned is meant to go back into helping these athletes continue their journey through coaching, equipment, tournament play, or other development opportunities.
Congratulations, boys. Keep earning it. The work continues. 🎾💚
