Join us in welcoming our newest recruit to the Kainos family, Zion Monroe, a 6’4” wing from Calgary, Alberta!

Zion brings a combination of athleticism, physicality, and versatility to the program. A high-flying wing who can elevate above the rim, Zion is at his best attacking the basket, using his strength and explosiveness to get downhill and finish through contact.

A true two-way player, Zion is also a strong defender who takes pride in making an impact on both ends of the floor. His physicality, athleticism, and ability to guard multiple positions make him a tough matchup and a valuable piece for the program.

“I chose this program because I’m looking for something different and I want to experience what basketball is like in another city. I also chose Kainos because of the amazing coaching staff and the opportunities the program can provide me, especially when it comes to playing basketball at the post-secondary level. I feel like this is a great opportunity for me to grow as a player, challenge myself, and take the next step in my basketball journey.”

Aiden joins Kainos with a passion for the game and a strong desire to continue developing his skills at the highest level. As a point guard, he brings leadership, poise, and a relentless work ethic to the floor. His ability to create opportunities for his teammates, make smart decisions with the ball, and compete on both ends of the court makes him an exciting addition to our program.

Driven by a commitment to improvement, Aiden is eager to embrace the challenge of competing alongside talented players while learning from experienced coaches. His dedication to growth and willingness to put in the work align perfectly with the culture we continue to build at Kainos.
