Consistency isn't something you just force yourself to have.
It's an outcome of having a plan that works with your real life.
It's an outcome of knowing what to do when hard days happen.

We went out to a buffet to celebrate a family birthday.
This was my focus for the day and at the meal:
✅Load up on the nutrient dense foods.
✅Have some room for fun food.
First plate: lots of grilled meat, sushi, legumes.
Second plate: seafood, veggies, sashimi
Third plate: 3-4 onion rings, 2 fried squid rings, two small pizza slices. (At this point I was pretty full from the first two plates that I just took a modest amount of fun stuff so I didn't overfill myself but still could enjoy it.)
Dessert: fruit + a slice of lemon meringue pie.
Strategic eating isn't about restriction. It's about eating foods that help you feel good physically, and have the nutrients you need, so you can enjoy the other fun stuff without going overboard.

Simple repeatable meals.
Not too much variation, just a little bit here and there.
When I get sick of rotisserie chicken and fries or potatoes then we'll switch it up. But for now I have a system and it works!
The key to good and healthy weight management is making low barrier to entry meals for dinner and lunch. And repeating it over and over.
