From the beginning of the summer, there was something different about this group. The energy was contagious, the compete level was relentless, and they bought into playing the game the right way.

They competed just as hard without the puck as they did with it. They defended. They attacked. They supported each other. They brought energy every single night.

But what made this team special went beyond hockey.

Over the course of the summer, a group of players became teammates — and teammates became friends. They celebrated each other’s success, battled for one another and created the type of team culture that ultimately wins championships.

Team BIG set the example for exactly how we want teams in the HPH Top Prospects League to play.

What a run.

The Chasin’ Turkeys’ season came to an end in the HPH Top Prospects League Championship Final, falling to a strong Billiard Insurance Group team.

But the final score doesn’t take away from what this group accomplished.

From start to finish, the Turkeys brought compete, energy, and incredible team unity every time they stepped on the ice. They battled their way through a thrilling three-game semifinal series to earn their spot in the Championship and fought right until the end.

More than anything, this group represented exactly what we want the HPH Top Prospects League to be about — competitive hockey, development, friendships, and having a hell of a lot of fun doing it.

Thank you to every player who wore the Chasin’ Turkeys jersey this summer and helped make the season what it was.

2026 HPH TOP PROSPECTS LEAGUE FINALISTS 🏆

🏆 THE CHAMPIONSHIP IS SET. 🏆

After two very different paths through the semifinals, we’re down to the final two.

🦃 #3 Chasin’ Turkeys HC pulled off the upset over Apex Hockey, surviving an incredible three-game series that was neck-and-neck from start to finish. Every game was a battle, and the Turkeys found a way to punch their ticket to the Championship.

🟠 #1 BIG left no doubt on their side of the bracket, putting together a dominant performance against IceLine and sweeping the series in two games to secure their spot in the Final.

Now it all comes down to this.

These skates will combine conditioning, skating, puck touches, and game-related drills to help players rebuild their hockey-specific conditioning before training camps and the start of the season.

Rather than simply skating players into the ground, sessions will focus on the type of repeated high-intensity efforts, recovery, pace, and ex*****on under fatigue that players experience in games.
