Itching to learn how to dance?
Whether you're taking your very first dance class or searching for a fun new hobby, join us for a 6-week Lindy Hop series running Thursdays from August 13th to September 17th. You'll learn the foundations of one of the most joyful and energetic partner dances around and gain the confidence to step onto the social dance floor.
Over six weeks, you'll learn the foundations of swing dancing, including:
• 6-count and 8-count footwork
• Tuck turns and other classic Lindy Hop patterns
• The iconic Swingout!!!!
• Side-by-side Charleston
• Musicality, rhythm, and finding the pulse in the music
• The Shim Sham — the most famous routine in swing dancing
No partner or previous dance experience required.
Whether you're looking to meet new people, try something different, or finally step onto the dance floor, this course will give you everything you need to begin your swing dance journey.
