A wonderful way to cap off the summer at the
Caitlin Stewart Memorial Competition 💜
Caitlin always danced from her heart, showing just how much Highland dancing meant to her every time she stepped on stage.
Her memory is a beautiful reminder to our dancers that, at the end of the day, it isn’t the results that matter most - it’s the joy, passion, and love you bring to what you do.
It was an honour to dance in her memory this weekend. 💜

Still reminiscing about an incredible week in Moncton, NB celebrating the 50th Anniversary of the ScotDance Canada Championship Series! 🍁
This year’s Championships were even more special with co-founder Donna Jean in attendance. Seeing the event she helped build grow into one of the largest Highland dancing championships in North America was inspiring. It was especially meaningful for our school, as Donna Jean is Gillian’s sister-in-law and Kayleigh’s aunt, making this milestone a family celebration as well.
While there was plenty of hard work and dancing throughout the week, our dancers also took time to explore beautiful Moncton, make lasting memories, and enjoy everything the East Coast had to offer.
Thank you SDCCS 2026 for a wonderful week! See you next year in Edmonton 🎉
