At the age of 8 was confined to a wheelchair for three years with Perthese disease. At the age of 15 (1973)
started Shotokan karate and at the age of 26 (1984) received his Shodan (Black belt) with the K.U.G.B
(Karate Union of Great Britain). He is the founder of The Liverpool School of Martial Arts (Pickering, Ontario 1989) and The Harmony Center (Pickering Ontario 2007). At the age of 18 (1976) he was told by doctors to stop running and training in karate. Proving his own affirmation "IF YOU BELIEVE IT... YOU CAN ACHIEVE IT!"... his is now a SHIHAN... a 5th degree Black belt Master.
