Happy birthday to the skipper James Grattan!!!! The guy who is a fierce competitor who hates to lose but will have a beer with anyone after a game. He’s had so much success in the sport of curling but has never forgot his roots and why we all play the game. Happy Birthday!!

Last Saturday, Noah, Andy, Drew, James, and several of our family members had the pleasure of attending the wedding of our former teammate, Joel Krats, and Mackenzie Mitchell.
It was a beautiful day, and we were honoured to celebrate such a special occasion with them. Throughout their engagement, Joel and Mackenzie were very much part of the Team Grattan family, and they will always hold a special place in our hearts.
Joel was an outstanding teammate and friend during three incredibly successful seasons together. While we certainly enjoyed being on the same team on the ice, we think Joel and Mackenzie make an even better team off it.
Congratulations to the happy couple. We wish you both a lifetime of happiness, laughter, and success together.
The best teams aren't built in a season. They're built for a lifetime.
Congratulations, Joel & Mackenzie ❤️🎉🍾

Team Grattan members were honoured to receive multiple awards and championship banners at the New Brunswick Curling Gala, held May 29 at the Delta Fredericton.
James, Joel, Andy, Noah, Dean, and Drew were excited to receive the 2026 NB Tankard Provincial Men's Championship banner, which will proudly be displayed at the Gage Golf & Curling Association.
James was also honoured to be named New Brunswick Curling's Male Athlete of the Year and was recognized as a member of the 50+ Team of the Year alongside Charlie Sullivan, Jason Vaughan, Wade Blanchard, and Paul Nason.
In addition, James accepted the banner for the 2026 New Brunswick Senior Men's Championship team. He received the banner on behalf of teammates Scott, Grant Odishaw, Marc LeCocq, and Vance LeCocq, who were unable to attend.
The Gage Golf & Curling Association Men's Club Championship team was also presented with its championship banner. Congratulations to James Grattan, Matt Munro, Alex Peasley, Eric LeClair, and Dean Grattan on that accomplishment.
Last but certainly not least, Coach Dean Grattan was a deserving recipient of the Curling NB's Builder of the Year Award for his outstanding work as Technical Director, his commitment to grassroots development, and his tireless support of curling clubs throughout the province.
The evening was made even more special as the Gage Golf & Curling Association was recognized as Curling NB's Club of the Year, a testament to the tremendous volunteers, successful events, outstanding ice conditions, and unmatched atmosphere that make the Gage one of the premier curling clubs in New Brunswick.
It was a memorable night for Team Grattan and the Gage Golf & Curling Association. Congratulations to everyone recognized, and we look forward to building on these successes in the season ahead.

Happy Birthday Andy!
Pretty sure in this photo James and Andy are either celebrating a perfect shot or arguing about who actually called it.
Whether it’s throwing big shots, sweeping like your life depends on it, or just keeping things loose when the pressure’s on, you bring a ton to this group.
Grateful to have you out there with us. Hope you have a great one !
