It’s funny how we return to what we know, but sometimes forget along the way.

I have a toolbox of beautiful practices and resources I’ve learned or studied over the years.

While life is all about balance, for whatever reason I’ve stepped away from these practices. The very things that help keep me balanced, grounded and feeling good.

Lately I’ve been feeling off, and my body has been speaking loudly… just carrying the weight of life.

My nervous system is functioning on overdrive and I’ve been feeling the aches and pains, the weird nudges and the low energy days.

While I know consciously the answers are always found within, and my body knows exactly what it needs. We don’t always listen close enough to hear the answers.

I forgot how powerful some of these tools and practices are, the ones I’ve once used daily, like essential oils, EFT, breathwork and more.

This week I’ve been experiencing a great deal of constant headaches and pains. And this weekend in particular after 24 hours of debilitating shoulder pain which brought me to tears, I laid in bed, and thought hmmm what do I do???

And thought oh ya let’s tap- so I opened my EFT TAPPING App and started tapping. Underneath the pain, the emotion that surfaced was anger… for whatever reason…(we all know underneath the physical ailment / pain is always an emotional trigger).

So then I thought, hmmm what essential oil addresses the emotion of anger? I looked it up and was given a variety of oils that all address anger in different ways.

And out of the options that came up I was intuitively guided to use Siberian Fir—later learning it is the oil connected to ‘aging and perspective.’
So appropriate for where I am right now as I embrace this new chapter of 5-0! So interesting!

Nonetheless I got out my Siberian fir and put it on my shoulder, and wouldn’t you know it the pain immediately decreased and the next morning I woke up with zero pain.

This simple practice reminded me how many beautiful tools I have that I’ve gotten away from.. my oils, EFT, Reiki, breathwork, meditation, prayer etc.

I know these tools. I’ve used them, studied them and shared them with so many others.

I’ve realized it’s time to start pulling out these tools again and incorporate them into my daily life.

Our bodies are always speaking to us. There is so much potential for healing when we slow down, listen and give it the support it needs.

Grateful for taking the time to listen.

If you’re curious about essential oils or would like some guidance choosing the right oils for you, send me a message and we can book a time to connect.

I’d be happy to share what I know, answer your questions or help you place an order.

✨ Returning to What I Love — Teaching Yoga ✨

Yoga has been part of my life for almost three decades.

I began practicing in my early twenties and started teaching in my thirties. For close to 20 years, teaching yoga was simply part of who I was. These past few years have actually been the first time in my adult life that I haven’t taught regularly.

Life changed.

The pandemic happened. I lost my mom, and then my son’s father. Motherhood and navigating life largely on my own required more of me, and somewhere in all of that, teaching slipped quietly into the background.

I never really left yoga. I continued to practice behind the scenes, return to my breath and my mat when I needed it, and weave it into the healing work I do. But I stopped teaching.

And I miss it. 🤍

I’ve been teaching in and around Orillia since 2011, and over the years I’ve had the opportunity to teach in so many different spaces — National Nutrition, Inochi Spa, Orillia Parks & Recreation, Mind Body in Gravenhurst, Modo Yoga in Barrie, Inspiration Yoga Studio, Nourish Yoga Studio, corporate settings, private sessions, retreats and more.

I was even teaching SUP yoga on Lake Simcoe before SUP yoga became the big rave. 😉 Yoga has taken me into studios, businesses, parks, homes, retreats and onto the water.

Over the years, I’ve also stepped into the role of retreat facilitator and leader, weaving yoga, meditation, breathwork, mindfulness and other wellness practices into deeper retreat experiences.

Another area I’ve really enjoyed is working with athletes and local rep sports teams, sharing the benefits of yoga and mindfulness to support mobility, flexibility, recovery, focus, breath awareness and the mental side of sport. As the sports season ramps up again, I’m opening availability for yoga and mindfulness sessions for sports teams and athletes as well.

My roots are in the Sivananda Hatha Yoga lineage, but nearly two decades of teaching has shaped my own style — blending traditional Hatha, movement, breathwork, meditation, relaxation and mind-body connection.

And now, at 50, it feels like the right time to come back to this part of myself.

I’m beginning by offering private one-to-one and small-group yoga from my Soul Style Boutique space, while also opening myself back up to teaching throughout the community.

I’m available for private and in-home yoga, small groups, corporate wellness, studio classes, workshops, sports teams and athletes, retreats and collaborations — including opportunities to come in as a yoga teacher, wellness facilitator or retreat leader.

This isn’t really about starting something new.

It’s about returning to something I’ve always loved. 🧘‍♀️✨

And I’m really excited to see where yoga takes me next.

If you have a studio, workplace, sports team, retreat, group or space looking for an experienced yoga teacher or facilitator, I’d love to connect. 🤍

DM me let’s connect!

A soulful update:

The last few weeks have been unexpected.

If you’ve been wondering where I’ve been, much of my time and energy has been pouring into a new venture called Radiant Ride Co. — a luxury mobile detailing business I started alongside my dear friend 💫

And while it may seem like a very different path from the wellness, coaching, and soul-centered work I’ve shared here over the years, something beautiful is happening.

Today reminded me why.

After spending hours detailing a vehicle in the heat, our client invited us to stay for a refreshing cold drink before we headed out.

We stood in his shop talking about life, business, dreams, challenges, entrepreneurship, and the realities of building something from the ground up.

Nothing profound.

Nothing planned.

Just genuine human connection.

And as we stood there laughing and sharing stories, I realized something…

The vehicle is the service.

The connections are the gift.

People can get their vehicle cleaned almost anywhere.

What they remember is how they felt.

The conversation.

The kindness.

The care.

The experience.

For a little while I’ve been quietly wondering how my soul work and this new business journey fit together.

Today I realized maybe they’re not separate at all.

Whether I’m sitting across from someone in a coaching session, holding space for healing, or standing beside a vehicle with a shop vac in my hand…😂

I’m still bringing the same heart.

The same intention. My same vibe..

The same belief that every interaction matters.

Perhaps the real soul work isn’t found in what we do.

Perhaps it’s found in how we show up.

The clean vehicle is simply the reason we met.

The connection is the reason it mattered.

My heart is full.

And if you’d like to follow along on this new adventure, I’d love to invite you to join us over at .

Because what we’re building isn’t really about cars, it’s so much more.

It’s about people.

❤️

With love,

Vita

Ps. P.S. There is so much happening behind the scenes right now. New friendships, meaningful conversations, unexpected opportunities, and a beautiful reminder that sometimes life leads us exactly where we’re meant to be — just not always in the way we imagined. ✨

Pss. We’ve got some soul centered /heart felt events being planned behind the scenes. Stay tuned.

Lovely,

“Radiance is the glow of a woman who has walked through fire and kept her heart open.”

The older I get, the more I understand this.

Radiance isn’t about youth.
It isn’t about smooth skin or tight bodies or perfection.

It’s about resilience.

It’s about the woman who has known loss…
who has rebuilt after heartbreak…
who has carried responsibility when she felt exhausted…
who has questioned herself and still chosen to rise.

Radiance is earned.

It’s forged in the quiet moments no one sees.
In the tears.
In the late nights.
In the “how am I going to get through this?” seasons.

And yet… she doesn’t harden.

That’s the key.

She walks through fire —
and keeps her heart open.

Open to love.
Open to friendship.
Open to possibility.
Open to joy again.

As I approach 50, this is what feels most true.

My glow doesn’t come from avoiding the hard things.
It comes from surviving them — and still choosing softness.

Still choosing connection.
Still choosing depth.
Still choosing to believe in something beautiful ahead.

If I’m radiant now, it’s not because life was easy.

It’s because I refused to close my heart.

And that… that feels powerful.

Radiant at 50 isn’t about age.

It’s about the glow of a woman who has been through the fire —
and decided to love anyway.
